Adobe offers a 60% educational discount for all of its Creative Cloud apps to students and teachers with a .edu email address.
How much is the Adobe educational discount?
The Adobe Creative Cloud allows members access to its 20+ designing and creating applications for both desktop and mobile devices. These apps can be essential for students and teachers, especially those interested in editing photos and videos, creating websites and graphic designs, and more.
A student or teacher membership to the Adobe Creative Cloud costs $19.99/month, originally priced at $49.99/month. This means subscribers can get started immediately with any of the 20+ apps Adobe has to offer for $30 less per month. That’s a saving of roughly $360 per year!
What’s Included?
The special membership pricing allows students and teachers access to all of the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. These include Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and more. Students will have access to all of these apps on their desktop, as well as any available mobile apps.
Additionally, the monthly subscription provides students with their own portfolio website where they can store their work and share it with others. The website portfolio has 20 GB of cloud storage for students to use over the course of their membership.
What’s Not Included?
While the 60% discount scores students all Adobe applications for the normal price of a single app, Adobe does not offer any discounts on larger Creative Cloud packages for students. Anyone wanting access to all Adobe Stock images will have to pay full price for that monthly subscription.
How to qualify for Adobe student pricing?
Anyone 13 years of age and older that attends an accredited school or home-school is eligible for the discount. Students who apply must be attending school full-time and receiving a degree for a minimum of 2 years of study.
Qualifying schools include any public or private schools, colleges, universities, and vocational schools.
In order to receive the discount, the student or teacher must sign up with their school email, ending in .edu. If the student or teacher does not have a .edu email, they will be asked to provide other proof of enrollment following the purchase.
Students are able to hold onto the special discounted rate for as many years as they are a student.
