How does the Penguin student discount work?
Penguin offers a 10% discount to any student with a valid school email address, typically ending in edu.
Student status is verified by logging into or creating an account with UNiDAYS. You can do this directly from the Penguin site. If you already have a UNiDAYSaccount, you already qualify for the discount.
After you register, you’ll receive a voucher code that is good for 10% off all online purchases. Once you place your first order, you’ll continue to receive the discount as long as you remain a student and verified by UNiDAYS.
The discount isn’t valid in physical stores, and you can’t use it on gift cards. There are a few other restrictions laid out in the fine print.
Discount is available to verified UNiDAYS members only. Each voucher code can only be used once per order. All students who have been verified by completing the UNiDAYS validation process and have placed an order using their unique code will automatically have a 10% discount applied to all in-stock, qualifying products purchased online at originalpenguin.com except as set forth below. Exclusions: Not valid at specialty, or department stores. Not valid for cash and cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Not to be combined with any other coupon. Non-transferable. No adjustments to prior purchases. Taxes, shipping, handling, postage, packaging or similar charges do not count towards qualifying purchase amount for discount and are excluded from any discount. If you make a return from your qualifying purchase, you will only be refunded the actual price paid after discount, minus any adjustment for offer entitlement.
