How Much is the Allstate Student Discount?
The Allstate Smart Student discount saves up to 35% off auto insurance premiums for unmarried students up to a maximum of 25 years old.
To qualify for the Smart Student Discount, Allstate requires ONE of the following:
- You’re a single, full-time student under the age of 25 and getting good grades
- Your teen successfully completes the teenSMART® driver education program
- Your child attends school at least 100 miles away from where your car is garaged
Allstate’s teenSMART® Program
For parents of teen drivers, Allstate offers the teenSMART® driver education program.
teenSMART® is a software course that your teen can take at home. The cost is around $120, but your insurance agent may be able to provide a coupon code and you may get a discount on your policy when it’s complete.
